Associated Press - Texans leave 30,700 stimulus checks unclaimed --- "AP) About 30,700 Texans have yet to receive their economic stimulus checks because of mailing address errors.

The Internal Revenue Service is reaching out to those taxpayers to distribute more than $19 million in unclaimed stimulus checks and more than $8 million in regular tax refund checks.

"All you have to do is update your address with the IRS so we can send it to the right place," Clay Sanford, an IRS spokesman in Dallas, said in a statement."

Yes, I do believe that another round of stimulus checks would help every family out here. And yes, for all of us that were able to get our checks, it definitly helped out, but it sure didn't last long because the price of everything has gone up so much. I believe that if Congress does pass this and give the okay for all the people to receive another round of stimulus checks, they should consider making those checks larger than the last time though. After all, if the government has billions of dollars to bail out Wall Street, then they definitly have the money to bail out the citizens of the United States of America who work hard every day (whether we work outside of the home or work at home raising our families) to keep America running, Because Congress and all the higher ups in Government must remember that without all of us to feed the economy and keep making the money so that they can pull some of the money out of our paychecks, then they would not recieve all the money in their paychecks that they do. Maybe it would have been better for Congress to have only picked up half of the debt on Wall Street and given the other half of the money to all of the citizens to help bail us out, after all Wall Street made all of their debt and so did we, so wouldn't that have actually been the fair thing to do? But since they didn't do it that way, I think it's only fair to give us another round of checks!
And by the way, in response to Katie Dunn, America is not a Communist County and our freedom was not free and should not be taken lightly. Why don't you go and live for a while in a real Communist Country, then you would know what one is really like?

Tehse are economically challenging times for all Americans. What has happened to our economy? I'll tell you what happened. There was runaway spending, blank war checks, fat cats padding the pockets of big businesses, sending jobs overseas. Need i go on. We've all got the picture. Now it's much more difficult to feed and clothe our families, pay bills, buy gas and pay for other essentials that are needed. We're in trouble if Mr Obama is not elected president. Funny how the election process is working now. Guess there's no chance that Obama will get "SELECTED" huh?
