About
Russ Johnson is an Internet marketing entrepreneur since 1996 and sought after expert in the field of unclaimed money and property in the United States.
He has been assisting Americans since 1997 in locating and claiming hundreds of thousands of dollars citizens were unaware existed in their names. Unclaimed money became a huge part of Russ’ daily life by accident after watching an Oprah Winfrey show featuring unclaimed property. Since that fateful day, Russ’ life has never been the same.
Formerly a full time radio disc jockey for 20 years, starting in Charlotte, NC, Greenville SC and Nashville Tennessee, Russ has been a radio personality at famed stations such as the legendary WSM and head DJ at the world famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville Tennessee. Russ says he was bitten by the radio bug as a 13 year kid and cannot get the “bug” out of his system. He is currently working part time as classic rock DJ for WROQ-FM in Greenville SC.
Russ says; “I was surprised to see I made it to Wikipedia. Not a big thing really, but I was surprised to see my name listed as one of Rock 101’s DJ’s. <laughs> Out of all the good times my life has brought me, I get excited seeing my name on Wikipedia“.

Hi Connie,
I must admit, once the DJ bug bites you, it’s hard to let go. I’m sure if I can by with my southern accent, you’d be able to get by with talking fast
Thanks for your nice comments and I look forward to your visit often.
Hello Russ, My question is when I looked up my maiden name & married name a whole bunch of names come up . How can i get results that pretaining too my name and mine only.
That’s a great question and hopefully, I can explain the best way to search here.
Unless you have a common name, like mine, it is best to start with last name only and then scroll thru the results looking for a familiar address or name.
You will certainly want to search you married and maiden names, but just be sure to start with last name.
If you have a common name, like mine, begin your search with the first letter of your first name and also use your last name. This process will usually cut down on the number of returns received saving you time.
Be sure you are searching any and all state(s) in which you have ever lived or worked, as well as any state which the companies you have worked for had their home offices. In most cases this will be sufficient.
Caution: You didn’t mention if you were already a registered user of our site, so I give this word of caution. Just because you find your name listed on an unclaimed money website does not make it legitimate unless you are searching the official sites. Many sites will return results no matter what name you input. This is a sneaky way to get you into their site.
We ensure you are searching the direct sources (no middle men here) holding your money at http://www.showmemymoney.com
Good luck!
