“Selling and making money on eBay is so drop-dead-simple, just about anybody of any business or computer experience can make it happen. And I’m not talking about the ones who are making a few extra spare change selling products here and there either – I’m talking about regular housewives, retirees, college students, and busy parents who are consistently milking several thousands of dollars every week with their eBay business from the comfort of their homes!”

Find a work from home job for self employment is as varied as the many varieties of snowflakes. Yet, you can rest assured there is an opportunity just around the corner which will suit you perfectly. You simply need to know where to look in order to find the right idea for your self employment.
There is nothing quite like having the freedom to work when you want. vacation when you want. Even wake up in the morning whenever you damn well feel like it! I know, I’ve been living this lifestyle for over 10 years and would not trade my freedom for any amount of money.
This is not to say I do not work. I do! Sometimes, I may spend as many as 16 hours in a day. At other times, I may go 3 or 4 months and do absolutely nothing but spend time with my family or throw Frisbee to my dog.
But you are not so worried about what I do. Right?
You want ideas for your own self employment!
Over the next few weeks, I will return to my blog to make suggestions for you to work from home.
I am going to start with what many on eBay have kept secret for years. DROP SHIPPING!
Drop shipping allows you to sell name brand merchandise without having to actually handle the product. You simply promote the product on sites like eBay, or advertise online in such places as Google Adwords or Yahoo Marketing. When you make a sale, you simply fax the order to your supplier and they ship the product directly to your customer. Many will even put your company name on the shipping label.
This self employment idea has been used by so many successful marketers, the blueprint is already in place and you only need to get the excitement to sell the product of your choosing. Drop shipping it is a very low-cost way of selling physical goods without having to buy a ton of stock up front. The costs remain relatively low since there is no up front stock to buy. World Wide Brands offers one of the best self employment ideas around.

Now that we are in the process of moving our money blog over to ShowMeMyMoney.com, I plan to spend more time on this blog providing the money making resources I have found and have been making me money. Though I may also post them on my business blog, I hope to dedicate this blog to a more personal perspective as well as ways to help everyone find the resources I use to make money online.
Since I am in the process of selling a home on Lake Hartwell in SC, on the Georgia border, once sold, I plan to travel the country showing many more people how to find unclaimed money, doing the radio and Tv circuit and really just having fun. I’ll keep everyone updated as I move along and get closer to this goal.
A video conference between officials of the Federal Reserve led by chairman Ben Bernanke mid-December of ’08 led to a record-breaking reduction of federal funds rate. At a drop of 4.25 to 3.5 percent, it was the biggest reduction on loan interest yet in two decades.
The huge Fed rate cut that was approved by a vote of 8-1 was a move to do something about the global financial crisis and to prevent extensive damage to local and worldwide stock markets. “The world’s stock markets are in meltdown so the Fed came in with an inter-meeting move to try to stop the panic,” analyzes Christopher Rupkey who is senior economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. Another analyst, Lyle Gramley of the Stanford Financial Group says “This move by the Fed was essential,” adding“Bernanke promised in a speech earlier this month to take substantive action in a timely and decisive manner.”
This extreme action which unexpectedly came about in between regularly-scheduled Fed meetings reflects how crucial things are financially. U.S. real estate prices are still falling, unemployment rising and consumer spending weakens even more as the effects of the recent stimulus program wear-off. The emergency cut is expected to lower credit card interest rates, mortgage rates, and bank loans.
Investor speculation in response to this big move by the Federal Reserve officials however may have caused a drop in stock prices in Wall Street. It apparently created further alarm and worry that the economy is worse-off. “This is a whole lot of new information for people to digest,” senior investment strategist David Waddell who is also chief executive of Waddell & Associates said in a recent news report. “Now we need time to sit back … and figure out what it all means.”
Federal Reserve officials don’t plan to stop with this action however- more rate cuts are in the works to ensure lasting economic damage control. Some experts say rate cuts alone won’t “cut it” however. More have to be done to trigger improved consumer spending and boost the ailing economy. According to a chief U.S. economist at Deutsche Bank, Joseph LaVorgna, “It’s a tall order to get (people) to go out and spend again,” adding. “That’s why you also need a stimulus.”
Advisers under the incoming President are expecting a trillion-dollar economic recovery plan under Obama’s term over the next two years.
I am willing to bet nearly every reader of my ShowMeMyMoney.com newsletter has thought to themselves “AT LEAST” once in their lives they would love to make money online, but just don’t know how to get started.
In fact, I am 99% certain, everyone of my friends has tried to pick my brain on what I do to generate my income.
You know I am always seeking ways to help our users find, save or make money online, and the most often heard statement “I have no idea how to get started” or “where do I find products to sell?”
I’m not going to give you a lot of “blah blah” about how great the site I am recommending today is, but only to say nearly every top eBayer uses these guys to drop ship products to their customers. Drop shipping basically means you do not have to handle the product. The company you sell your products for will actually put your name on the shipping label and deliver the product for you. Of course, you could always have a warehouse of product to sell if you choose to do so, but it is really nice to know you can spend your time selling products rather than spending a large part of your day at the post office.
The BIG SECRET the top eBayers are not telling you about is a company called WORLD WIDE BRANDS.

As mentioned in my last message (as posted below), a colleague of mine forwarded the last message I sent to you earlier today about the letter from David Letterman.
Turns out, David Letterman was inappropriately credited for a letter he did not write. You can see where this same letter was once credited to Jay Leno and started spreading around and reported at http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/hitnail.asp (Thanks Randy A. – Vermont)
This was an email forwarded to me from a colleague of mine which I sent to my entire email list. I hope you see the wisdom late night talk show host David Letterman dispenses regardless of your beliefs or affiliations.
===================
No matter what your political convictions are this is an eye opener….What a thankless people we are!!!
David Letterman, on President Bush. (Surprising)
David Letterman wrote this; it’s the David we don’t often see….
‘As most of you know I am not a President Bush fan, nor have I ever been, but this is not about Bush, it is about us, as Americans, and it seems to hit the mark.’
‘The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President. In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain’t happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ‘What are we so unhappy about?’
A. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?
B. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?
C. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?
D. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?
E. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state.
F. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?
G. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.
H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.
I. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.
J. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.
K. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.
L. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.
M. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?
Maybe that i s what has 67% of you folks unhappy.
Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S. , yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don’t have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.
I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?
Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn’t take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad? Think about it……are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the ‘Media’ told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.
Make no mistake about it. The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn’t have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ”general” discharge, an ‘other than honorable” discharge or, worst case scenario, a ”dishonorable’ discharge after a few days in
the brig.
So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?
Say what you want, but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer wha t sell s, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by ‘justifying’ them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn’t kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it
this way……Insane!
Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as a country. There is exponentially more good than bad. We are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.’ ‘With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, ‘Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?’
-David Letterman
